Hawzah News Agency – It is with deep sorrow that we received the sad news of the demise of the Grand Marja, Al-Udhma Ayatollah Lotfollah Safi Golpaygani. He was a luminary of Islam and a great pillar of strength to the seminary of Qom.

The sad demise of this great scholar leaves a vacuum in the Muslim world that will not be easily filled.

The Ahlul Bayt (A.S.) Islamic Council of South Africa joins the Muslim world in mourning the demise of this great scholar. Our sincere condolences to Imam Mahdi (A.T.F.), Imam Sayed Ali Khamenei (H.A.), the Golpaygani family and the people of Iran.
